Ion Science SF6 AreaCheck P2 – Fixed SF6 Leak Detection
Designed for fixed continuous SF6 area monitoring, the AreaCheck P2 with 12-point network controller rapidly detects low-level SF6 leaks. The fixed SF6 leak detector utilises relay output for immediate awareness of detected leaks, and presents no cross sensitivity with any other gas or moisture in the air. The AreaCheck P2 has no filter problems due to its minimum air intake (compared to pump operated systems). Instrument setup is carried out easily via a computer or network interface, allowing optimal protection from unauthorised access. The SF6 AreaCheck P2 has a built in low flow alarm and self-diagnostic testing. The instrument’s serviceable components are comprised in the user exchangeable SmartSensor, with a lifetime of up to 12 months. Air Monitor VOLU-PROBE SS – STAINLESS STEEL TRAVERSE PROBE
The VOLU-probe/SS Stainless Steel Airflow Traverse Probe is ideal for clean or harsh and particulate laden applications operating at temperatures ranging from -20 - 900°F. It consists of multiple Pitot total and static pressure sensing ports positioned along the length of each probe to traverse the duct cross-section. They average the sensed pressures in their separate internal manifolds and provide velocity pressure measurement accurate to within 2-3% of actual flow.

ir Monitor's AUTO-purge III is designed for applications where the continuous exposure to airborne particulate might impair the measurement accuracy of our Combustion Air Station (CA Station) or our VOLU-probe/SS array. When activated by one of our "smart" flow transmitters or a distributed control system, a combination of valves are operated to introduce high pressure, high volume air into the flow measurement device's sensing ports for a short duration while simultaneously isolating the transmitter from over-pressurization. This periodic purging assists in maintaining the sensing ports of the total and static pressure manifolds in a clear unobstructed condition.

This combination allows for the prediction of the fluid density, volumetric flow rate and mass flow rate without any fluid density information being required from an external source. Vortek Pro-V™ Multivariable Flowmeter Model M24 In-line Vortex
VorTek Instruments’ Pro-V™ multivariable flowmeters utilize three primary sensing elements–a vortex shedding velocity sensor, an RTD temperature sensor, and a solid-state pressure transducer–to measure the mass flow rate of gases,
liquids and steam. The M24 is available in a reducing configuration which allows the meter to be reduced internally from the nominal line size thus increasing the units useable measuring range.

Insertion vortex meters measure flow by detecting the local velocity at a strategically located position within the pipe. Our Pro-V™ Model M23 detects the frequency at which vortices are shed from the bluff body located within the sensor head and then converts this to a volumetric flow in the electronics. The Pro-V™ Model M23 also uses the local velocity, along with other parameters, such as fluid type, pipe size and Reynolds number to calculate the average pipe velocity, and consequently, the volumetric flow rate.
