These liquid level sensors and float switches are available in 3 basic sizes: full, miniature and sub-miniature, and in a wide variety of mountings, materials and sensing technologies. Madison float switches and liquid level sensors are manufactured with proven reed switch technology and offer trouble-free service with precise repeat-ability. Each float switch and liquid level sensor are designed and manufactured to be rugged to withstand even the harshest of environments. Madison Company also round out the product line with optical, conductivity, tilt float, combination liquid level and temperature sensors and all with direct interface to controllers and meters, which are also available.
Magnetic reed switch technology:
High Reliability Multi-Point Liquid Level Switches, Wide selection of switches in available materials, Three basic sizes: full, miniature and subminiature, Direct interface to controllers available, Adjustable-height liquid level switches available
Varieties of mechanical switches available such as Top inserted float actuated level switches, Top inserted displacer actuated level switch, External cage float or displacer actuated level switch, High temperature and pressure level switch.
Madison Company's Tilt Float Switches provide inexpensive, efficient and highly reliable level detection or control for large open vessels, water tanks, reservoirs, sumps and ponds.
Three different designs are available to suit your individual application. The propylene float is chemically resistant and extremely durable for long service life, and resistance to heat, oxidation, ozone and aging due to weather or application conditions. These tilt float switches are designed for waste water or pond level control, or any application where conditions are challenging and smaller sensors can't hold up.
The Delta Controls Series 835 detects the presence or absence of material at the elevation of its probe. The arriving material pushes the lower end of the hanging probe to one side. An internal drop of liquid acts as a tilt sensor and signals when the probe moves to an angle of 15° away from vertical This tilt signal is handled in accordance with the programmed setup. The output relay energizes if the probe remains vertical for the preset time period. The interconnecting cable is very flexible. Each wire has rubber insulation. The overall jacket is abrasion resistant rubber.
