Turbidity/Suspended Solids

Turbidity Measurement: ØScattered light measurement  principle in accordance with ISO 7027. ØTwo ranges: 0.001 to 1000 NTU and 0.001 to 4000NTU. (Unmatched in the market!).

 

Suspended Solids Measurement: ØTwo ranges available: 0.1 to 14 g/l and 0.1 to 100 g/l. ØScattered light is detected by two separate receivers at different points. Different values at the receivers indicate level of solids. ØTwo measuring channels each with one emitter and two receivers. (Unique and patented).

 The Bestobell Markland BMSM 502 measures suspended solids content by monitoring attenuation between the sensors mounted in the slurry.
BMSM 502 is capable of measuring at least 10% suspended solids municipal slurry & up to 65% S.S. of industrial slurry  (dependent on slurry)

Sludge Blanket Interface Level Transmitter - Ultrasonic

The Bestobell Markland BMSL 602 uses the sonar principle, with an ultrasonic pulse transmitted under the water, Sophisticated echo processing allows the MSL 600 to analyze the pulse of ultrasound which transmits vertically and reflects from the surface of the sludge blanket. The system captures the ultrasonic echoes reflected from the blanket below. Knowing the speed of sound in the supernatant, the depth of the sludge blanket is then determined from the time of flight of the echo.

Ultrasonic Flowmeters

The Katronics flow meters are ideally suited to dirty or clean liquids. The measurement of flow is based on the principle the sound waves are influenced by a flowing medium. Measurements are made by penetrating the pipe wall with ultrasound and subsequent time differences, frequency variations and phase shifts of the ultrasonic signals are evaluated. The measuring technique has no effect on the flowing liquid. There is no pressure loss in the pipe and no wear on components of the measuring device.

The ultrasonic sensors are clamped onto the outside of the pipe, thus eliminating the need to interrupt the process.

Magnetic Flowmeters

The RPmag62 flow meter is suitable for use in many industries including chemical, power generation and distribution, mining, water treatment, pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food and environmental protection. There are no moving parts in the measuring tube and there is no pressure loss. Venturi Nozzle Elements and Open Channel Flow

The venturi nozzle is a hydraulic measuring element for precise flow measurement. With an insertable short venturi it is possible to detect low quantities of flow by measuring the flow height. Measuring the height is accomplished using an ultrasonic level system which calculates the flow volume.

Sensors and Accessories for pH, ORP/Redox:

Dynaprobes are severe service, robust probes that feature the unique and patented "Ion Traps" which capture and retain contaminating Ions. This prevents sensor poisoning and provides for a longer and trouble free operating life to pH and ORP sensors. A wide range of mounting options are available and all incorporate a temperature sensor for thermal compensation.
