Thermal Imaging/InfraRed: Wahl offers the lowest cost high performance thermal imaging camera on the market. Ergonomically designed, this compact instrument features a 160 X 120 detector array for high resolution measurement. An affordable and easy to use diagnostic tool, images can be easily downloaded to a PC with the supplied SD card reader for post analysis.

Digistem Thermometer and Transmitter systems provide digital accuracy and reliability of temperature measurements in rugged industrial environments. A wide range of stems and remote interface connections accommodate most installation requirements. FDA approved.

Liquid Filled: Palmer industrial thermometers set industrial standards for accuracy, quality and rugged operation. These classic thermometers are designed and constructed for long term industrial service. Palmer still manufacturers FDA approved Mercury filled thermometers, long a standard of measurement in food processing, for use in the pasturization process.

Recorders, Dataloggers, Controllers and Indicators

Paperless Recorders: Together with its PC software components, this paperless recorder provides a closed system for the electronic acquisition, storage and archiving of process data that fulfills the requirements of FDA 21 CRF Part 11. The presentation is a 5.7" color screen on which the data can be displayed in different formats (numbers, diagrams, bar graph, etc.). Measurement data is electronically stored and available both locally or on a PC.

Data Loggers: Tiny Tag Data Loggers are compact, battery powered units. The range of applications include temperature, humidity, mV, mA, volts, pulses, shock and vibration monitoring and recording. Tinytag Explorer software allows for simple configuration of the logger and easy manipulation of the data.

Controllers: IMAGO is a process and program controller with up to 8 controller channels or 4 program channels. The display is a 5" color graphics display. The layout of the screen templates can be individually adapted and adjusted. The controller features up to8 analogue inputs and 6 logic inputs. A setup program is available for configuring from a PC.

Process Indicators: Precision Digital offers a wide range of digital indicators designed to work with any industrial instrument transmitter. Options include alarm contacts, scaled outputs and control relays for batch service. The Consolidator is available in 4 and 8 input models, minimizing the cost and space requirement when multiple instruments are to be monitored. Wall or panel mount versions area available.

Steam Traps/Energy Conservation

Only Bestobell Aquatronix can provide a steam trap guaranteed not to allow the passage of live steam for a period of up to 3 years. The Bestobell Delta B is unique and can save you thousands of dollars per year and provide a payback as short as 6 months. But as there is no such thing as a universal steam trap, Bestobell offers a full compliment of technologies to be able to provide the right product for your application.

Bestobell is an Enbridge approved trap survey contractor wherein Enbridge will subsidize 50% of the cost of the survey and any recommended upgrades.

In addition, Bestobell provides condensate return systems and leak detection instruments.

Level Control and Indication

Level Switches  A comprehensive range of point level detection technologies for alarm and control duty on liquids, slurries and powdered/granular products. Technologies offered are float, displacer, ultrasonic, vibrating fork, capacitive, conductivity, optical, tilt sensors and diaphragm.

Analytical - pH/ORP/Conductivity/ION Specific/Turbidity

Dynaprobes are severe service, robust probes that feature the unique and patented "Ion Traps" which capture and retain contaminating Ions. This prevents sensor poisoning and provides for a longer and trouble free operating life to pH and ORP sensors.

Process data can be recorded and trended in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant format.

Pressure

Transmitters: PSM manufacturers a complete range of pressure transmitters for industrial and OEM applications.

Unique to PSM is their innovative Dual Mode 'ICT' series capacitive measurement cell which uses a ceramic diaphragm which, due to the unique design, is fully protected from overload damage. The iCT utilizes a unique digital processing principle, which employs the varying frequency of the sensor to control the frequency of an oscillator. An embedded micro-controller precisely monitors this frequency to provide a comprehensive range of functions and outputs, all under the user's control.

The iCT provides both analogue and digital outputs and can easily be configured remotely. The transmitter can be programmed with tank profile tables, alarm points, etc, which significantly increases user functionality.

Pressure Gauges: Palmer Wahl manufacture a complete range of pressure gauges to suit any application. From simple low cost models to severe service designs and gauges with contact or transmitter outputs. FDA 3A compliant.

Flow

Thermal Mass Gas Measurment: The Fox Thermal Mass flowmeter is the instrument of choice for reliable and accurate gas flow measurement. The instrument measures in standard units without the need for temperature and pressure compensation. Ideal for compressed air, CO2, Natural Gas, etc.

Ultrasonic: The Katronics flow meters are ideally suited to food and beverage process applications. The measurement of flow is based on the principle the sound waves are influenced by a flowing medium. Measurements are made by penetrating the pipe wall with ultrasound and subsequent time differences, frequency variations and phase shifts of the ultrasonic signals are evaluated. The measuring technique has no effect on the flowing liquid. There is no pressure loss in the pipe and no wear on components of the measuring device. The ultrasonic sensors are clamped onto the outside of the pipe, thus eliminating the need to interrupt the process.

Near Infrared Analyzers

Phytoscan Analyzers are the first constituent screens designed specifically for the needs of the nutraceutical and functional food industries. Requiring little or no sample preparation and only minutes of elapsed time, Phytoscan systems can provide moisture determination, relative concentrations of active components and, best of all, lot to lot consistency. The NIR analyzer used in Phytoscan has been well proven throughout the food and pharmaceutical industries in applications such as determining dextrose equivalence, moisture in chopped flora, and concentration of vitamin intermediates during synthesis

Ethernet Interface & Signal Conditioning

Ethernet modules provide network interface for analog and discrete I/O signals. Multi-range analog inputs and outputs support a wide variety of industrial devices.

Computation modules provide the ability to perform mathematical functions separately from the PLC or DCS, enhancing system speed and functionality.
