Herose GMBH are global leaders in the design and manufacture of valves for cryogenic and industrial gas services.

Herose's total commitment to quality starts with the research and development areas. This is where the foundation is laid for the complete product program . The quality system was approved to ISO 9001 in 1991 and is certified by Det Norske Veritas. Third party testing is conducted in house on equipment calibrated by TUV Nord. Valves carry the Canadian CRN reqistration and are ASME Certified.

Every Herose valve is tested prior to shipping to ensure material strength and valve function.

Safety Relief Valves

Herose is a leader in relief valves design, and manufactures over 200,000 safety valves each year.

The unique design of many of the valves together with the continuous development and test programs allows Herose to offer a comprehensive range of valves with extended operating life. The options include soft and metal to metal seated valves, lifting devices, different materials, etc. These are suitable for vessels, trailers, cylinders, process plant, high purity and many other piping applications.

The range is fully approved for air gases and CO2 duties, holding most of the approvals for the global industrial gas market.

Valves in this range have allowed customers, in agreement with local authorities, to increase the period between inspection and service intervals, reducing lifetime costs.

Change Over Assemblies

Change over and diverter valve assemblies allow ease of installation of safety relief valves and at the same time ensure that one safety valve is always in service. This enhances repair and replacement of the safety valves ass it is no longer necessary to vent the tank for servicing.

Additional ports can be fitted to accommodate bursting discs, indicators or test ports.

All assemblies are cleaned for Oxygen service

Globe Valves

Herose offer a complete range of globe style, straight or angle patterned, valves for cryogenic service. Materials of construction include bronze and stainless steel and all valves can be supplied with pre-fitted stub pipes to facilitate installation into any material piping without requiring the disassembly of the valve to prevent heat damage.

All Cryogenic service valves are "cleaned and de-greased for Oxygen service" and feature "live-loaded" gland packing (bellows sealed glands are available) to ensure tight sealing during thermal cycles. Working temperature ranges from -196 C to +120 C.

Tank Fill Assemblies

Tank fill assemblies greatly simplify the fabrication and refurbishment of Cryogenic tanks and at the same time reduce the number of potential leak point by reducing the number of pipe joints.

Each assembly is built under factory controlled conditions and can be configured to suit the particular requirements of any application.

Options include the materials of construction and connections. Special customer specific connections can be fitted. Drain valves, pressure relief valves, bursting discs, check valves and gauge ports are all available.

As with the Herose globe valves, all assemblies feature "live loaded" packing (bellows sealed valves are available) and are "cleaned and degreased" for Oxygen service as standard.

Control Valves

The complete range of globe valves are available with pneumatic actuators for remote operation. All configurations (air to open/spring close, spring open/air close and air to open/air to close) can be supplied.

The actuators are all epoxy resin coated and can be supplied with solenoid valves, limit switches, electro-pneumatic positioner, etc.

Strainers

Herose offer a complete range of strainers for cryogenic service. Materials of construction include bronze and stainless steel and all can be supplied with pre-fitted stub pipes to facilitate installation into any material piping without requiring the disassembly of the strainer to prevent heat damage.

Check Valves

Herose offer a complete range of check valves for cryogenic service. Materials of construction include bronze and stainless steel and all valves can be supplied with pre-fitted stub pipes to facilitate installation into any material piping without requiring the disassembly of the valve to prevent heat damage.
